is there any certified nurses in this group? would like to ask someone that is a few things

      for someone who has developed high blood pressure going through this how safe is taking black cohosh? as ive read it raises blood pressure. and is there a safer supplement for hot flashes? hrt isnt an option and im allergic to birth control. my dr isnt of no help at all with any of this.

      I would not reccomend black cohosh. mainly because it's not FDA approved and raises your BP. Menopause also raises your BP. Take a baby aspirin once a day, St Joseph's or Bayer, along with meditation and you should be fine.

      Some women take MACA for hot flashes, either as a smoothie or capsules. Otherwise, there is really nothing for hot flashes unfortunately and i agree, I HATE IT TOO
