Botox and PEs? Are there any studies that Botox can cause PEs? Or if you have PEs can Botox be dangerous?

Basically, after my treatment, would it be safe for me to get Botox or is it a risk?

I wouldn't chance it. I think your health is more important. Do you know how you got a pe?

Then you maybe ok because it sounds like your pe was provoked rather then unprovoked but people who have had a pe are always at risk of getting another one. I was told by my hematologist I'm at about 10% of getting another one. Most medical sites say 30%. But he thinks mines from kicking a door. But i still wouldn't risk it. I would ask your doctor about it.

I had Botox for bruxism before I was diagnosed but was definitely suffering with PEs and felt terrible after, I got really bad flu like symptoms and strange heart arrhythmias. I have wondered since, could it have affected me or made the PEs worse or would I have felt like that anyway.
