MY HUSBAND HAD A CATARACT REMOVED AND A FEW MONTHS LATER DEVELOPED MACULAR DEGENENERATION

Ask the consultant who did the operation to remove the cataract I'm sure in some cases that would happen but very rare. I hope your husband gets the help he needs for it. You should ask why this happened it may not have happened because of the cataract surgery.
