Is there anyone else like me? Please help me. I'm losing it :(

Is there anyone else out there that experiences what I do? I cannot take this anymore I feel like I am going insane and I'm losing hope.

My legs feel heavy all the time, esp my left. I can't walk very well and when I walk too far I feel like I'm walking on uneven pavement and I become very off balance. I have an inner ear disease but this feels different. Like I turned to walk today and the world tilted left, right, then left and I thought I was going to fall down. I get these weird drop feelings as if the floor dropped but it didn't. I get these weird electrical shock feelings that I call brain zaps (no I haven't came off any medicine). My upper and lower back hurt a lot and my body just feels achy and heavy ALL the time.

I just had a full spine MRI and my results are a week away yet. I've had so many tests done and this is my last stop. I'm in such a low spot emotionally right now that a week feels like forever. Someone please help me.

    HI Hayhue,

I have the same feeling and u have to have surgery as I have a compressed nerve on my spine and stenosis. Cervical spine. My legs hurt and arm, all on the right side. I am walking with a cane now. Did you have your cervical mri done?

Mine is both sides. My arms ache all the time and I feel like I can't grasp things very well with my hands. I'm always dropping things. My forearms go numb off and on too.

I'm using a cane as well for my balance. I just had a full spine MRI Thursday, I was in the machine 2 hours. I go for results next Monday.

No surgeries. BP good. Been tested for autoimmune and they're all negative. Praying I don't have lesions on my spine, tho.

      Thank you. Means a lot.

      Hayhue,

Omg, I feel for you as I said before I had a discetomy and a year later a fusion and now the stimulator, I've been in alot of pain for 20 years and that feeling is the worse, I hope you find answers real soon keep us updated on your progress.

Take care, and hopefully some pain free days ahead of you.

Thank you! No I'm in the US. I have the option to access the results online so I'm going to call tomorrow and try to sign in. I'm anxious to know what's going on.

I'm still in a sort of shock that spine problems can cause all of this. I would've never thought it.

Thank you! How do you feel since your surgery?

I'm from Pennsylvania which is the eastern side of the US. I'd say about 2,000 miles from Utah. I heard it's nice there tho!

I didn't do anything that I remember to my back that's what's so weird. I'll definitely try to look tomorrow and let everyone know.

I feel your pain! I had first one out in 2013!! It got infected and I complained for eight weeks!! Finally popped and hospital for a week! Ever since I get shooting burning pain! My legs are so painful it's unbelievabl!! With spasms in back legs and feet real ban!! My whole body from chest to feet hurt and ache so bad and is driving me insane!! Been fighting for 3yrs!! They even talked me into trying another stim in summer 2014!! Caused it to hurt worse!! It's like the doctors don't want to know what the first one did!! I'm going to different pain clinic in sept!! I'm hoping this doctor does more than mention another stim!! Done with that! I also believe need more tests than an mri!! I think it may have burnt me!! My second one was put in over in Boston!! Not impressed!!! Praying for this new doc to look for what it did!! I'm praying he looks!! I am not gonna be able to keep going like this much longer!! They don't consider what it does to you mentally!! At all!! Good luck to you with that Mri!! But don't expect a lot if any good results!!
