Is this a cold sore on my lip?

as i was eating chinese food the othef day , i started to feel my lips get very tight and dry and i noticed a hard bump had formed on my too lip which later turned into a blister. it started leaking later on that night & the next day. yesterday it turned yellow (pictured) and my lips have been so dry & flakey. i thought at first it was a reaction but now im not so sure and i think it may be a cold sore? ! do they typically cause the whole lips to become inflammed?? image
