Is this a sign of epilepsy or seizures?

As you probably all know I have a major fear of seizures and always have done(not sure why just have). I am going through some terrible anxiety at the moment but the latest in my symptoms are remembering random dreams or past memories that are completely insignificant about my day. When this washes over me I get the panic weird hazy vision come over me when this happens. Ever heard of this and what is it?

In your previous posts it says you've seen a neurologist, you have to trust what they're saying.

I would suggest going to the doctors and asking for some diazepam, this isn't a long term solution but if it makes you feel better you'll know its anxiety.....its also an anti seizure drug 😉

But what if the neurologist has made a mistake and has got my diagnosis wrong?

He hasn't. They specialise in this field and will know all the signs of something else.

Anxiety has many forms and symptoms that (when googling) can seem similar to other conditions.

Can anxiety cause identical symptoms of the condition/illness you fear?

Also can anxiety cause weird panic vision feelings all day? Also i get deja vu and random memory flashbacks is that common?

You don't know if the symptoms are identical though as you dont have epilepsy.

It's all just your head honestly. Its The stress response from your body from worrying about it all time. Stop googling symptoms and do things that relax you and that takes your mind off it even if it's for a few minutes.

tested for epilepsy was four years ago and still getting these symptoms. i have watched so many youtube videos of people with temporal lobe epilepsy who say they get identical symptoms to mine. like the deja vu, dream flashbacks and fear out of nowhere so unless anxiety can cause identical symptoms then it must be seizures. the neurologist must be wrong and i have been mis diagnosed

HI Jonathan my name is Susan im 47, Ive always suffered anxiety. The past year and half has been absolutely awful. Ive been to so many Drs and tests keep coming back normal including a eeg and brain MRI. I experience everything you mentioned including very vivid dreams every night and basically feel like my digestive system has shut down. My senses all of them are heightened to a point that i can only describe as torture, do you experience that? I dont want to take medication for the anxiety because im afraid of all the side effects. The dreams are so real and vivid its creepy and the random memories also at times feeling like im having a seizure in my sleep and a feeling of overstimulation but also exhausted during the day its an awful feeling. I can only describe it as i feel like a person who is on drugs who doesnt want to be. Hang in there and do whatever you can to relax yourself and change your focus, I know its hard when you feel like crap but thats what im trying to do. I dont know if you believe in god but I pray a lot. I dont understand how a person can feel so awful but keep being told everythings normal. Try and find something positive in everyday:)
