Is this a tick bite?

hi,

i noticed this bite on my leg yesterday. at first it just looked like a normal bite, it was itchy and thought nothing of it. the next day (today) it is sensitive to the touch and is somewhat hard to the touch. It has visible differences in redness from center (very red) to outer most ring a light pink.

I dont feel like i have any other symptoms other than tenderness at the bite area. I also did not walk around in the woods recently.

Does this look more like a spider bite or tick bite?

Advice would be greatly appreciated!image

    Horsefly bite? Not absolutely sure but the rules for large bites are: Dont scratch and if it looks as though pus is forming go to A/E. Also if the redness spreads up or down your leg again go to A/E.

    If you start to feel ill go to A/E.

    It may be neither, it may be something that happened when you slept, the sleeping itself could have caused it. It definitely isnt a spider bite, because spiders do not bite humans very often. It could have been a bed bug. Sometimes even fabrics can causes these issues. Speak to you GP and see if it is serious. I assume it will pass you by in a few days.
