hey frank. it doesnt look like anything. its very small and i guess it hasnt changed much in the three months? i dont know about the texture of it obviously, but it looks like a skin tag that you could probably just scratch off yourself? since its been 3 months and youre still worried about it, have you got checked for stds? if not, why? im not a doctor, but from my personal opinion, it doesnt look like herpes at all.. chlamydia and syphilis would have different symptoms such as discharge etc. and the same thing with much different symptoms of hiv. mallascum contagisum does look like that, BUT it spreads like poison ivy on your skin. 3 months with no change or additional bumps would most likely rule that out. that leaves you with hpv/genital warts. i still think its a slim chance, but if it was a common std, i think that would be your best bet. BUT your most likely dealing with a normal skin condition. skin is weird, and sometimes just does things. unfortunately when a bump forms on our genitals our mind races. if this bump appeared on your arm, would you be this nervous?

hi man, i got molloscum contagsium on my balls (2 pink zits) and 1 on my pubic area. it lasted the same duration for 3 months with no change, it did get enlarged after and more reddish. i went to a doctor a burned it off and he told me ur fine, u dont need to do a test or anything. he told me it wasn't herpes. keep in mind, it didn't itch, burn or anything, it was just there. but then in mid dec till mid jan. so a full month. i did get two more. this time it was on my penis (right side of the shaft) and on my balls (same place as the two before). they lasted for a month. i scratched the on my penis, tried to pinch it, and 1 drop of blood came out. and i think at the end a white piece came out (similar to white puss of a pimple but it was hard while a whitehead). it left like a open sore and then went away. again, this time it last only for a month. my doctor told me once i burn off ur original once, u will nvr get it again. but then i got it again as i said. for both cases, it didn't burn, itch or anything. so my question is can molloscum be reoccurring? and can it happen it different spots? or do i have herpes? bcz i'm EXTREMELY scared

mallascum can have a pus like substance in it along with a white fluid. your dr is correct, once the lesions are gone the virus is too. three possibilities to consider: 1. the dr didnt actually get all of the bumps. mallascum can be mkre persistent in people with lower immune systems. 2. you had sex with the same person after the bumps were gone and got it again? mallascum doesnt lay dormant like herpes does. 3. you are just an unlucky son of a b***h who got mallascum twice? mallascum can appear in different spots as it spreads like poison ivy. if these spots were EXACTLY like the other ones your dr said were mallascum, then its not herpes. but i dont have a picture to compare so i cant say anything for sure. go get checked. you dont have to be showing symptoms to get a full panel of std screening.
