Is this a yeast infection or trichomoniasis?

Hi,

About 3 days ago i noticed moderate/severe itching and burning in and around my vagina simialr to a yeast infection (I had one in the past). its been two days now that I took the Canesten singular pill and cream and i noticed not much improvement and the itching and burning is very intense at this point.

The discharge is slightly pink sometimes instead of white and im assuming that is since im close to my period?

Would like to know if this would be a yeast infection and if i should book an appointment with my gyno but she only has room at the end of October.

Please any answers would help!
