I'm not a doctor, but of what I can see it's not too bad with your LS. Mine has looked worse, far worse. Yet I would advise you to look for the threat "An experiment with borax". Borax has helped me and others to keep LS nicely under control. Also check your diet. I can't eat added sugar for one.
Wishing you well.

Why not go to a gyn for a proper diagnosis? A medium strength steroid cream may be all you need. Best not to make assumptions and find out they weren't correct. You'll have peace of mind and probably an ointment to keep the skin supple.

Are these white patches new or have they been there 10 years and you're just not being affected by the steroid? Are you saying you never looked so you don't know? If that's the case it would be impossible for us to know if you should be concerned. The doc will presumably have records to refer to and will be your best source.
All we can suggest are things that might soothe if you are uncomfortable. Steroids are all that docs offer us. What other treatments are they "not trying" yet?

Mai,
Might be some white on your right side but do seek a professional opinion. What other symptoms led you to post here? Itch? Pain? strange feeling?

Dermovate ointment (clobetasol propionate)
is what you need other steroids are not normally strong enough. It can take a while to work.I Also use hydromol ointment for relief. This is an autoimmune disease lots of ladies have thyroid issues too. You need general bloods done checking things like vitamin D and B12. Lots of ladies including myself watch there diet if I have lots of sugar especially alcohol I will have a flare up.
Most important thing is to be referred to a specialist Vulva consultant. I Hope you get to see someone soon
