About 1 year ago i got very sick.I had fever and a lot of pain when i went to the bathroom.I went to the hospital and the emergency doctor told me it could be herpes but to get tested.I had very tiny paper cuts. And white stuff.I got tested and it came out negative. But then little warts came and i tested positive for HPV.I do not have any warts anymore but i still get paper cuts almost every month.Almost everytime i have sex.I went to the gyno again and she said i have candida and its chronic.Which is causing those paper cuts also severe dryness.I got swabs and indeed i had candida.I also get a minor sting whenever i have this and white yeast.Im not sure if these paper cuts are from candida. Please someone help 😦 They are ALWAYS on this zone.On the perineum area. Also my right labia is always swollen when this happen. They go away after i take candida medication for about 3 days they are gone.Ive been tested for EVERYTHING only HPV is positive.Which are WARTS not these also this picture is when they are Really bad.I had sex and they got deeper.image

    Dear dani,

Sounds like you're suffering from recurrent thrush with fissuring. Have they done any blood tests to check your general health? Anaemia, diabetes and hypothyroidism can all lead to recurrent thrush, so get tested to make sure you don't have an underlying health problem.

Best course for managing recurrent thrush is regular (prophylactic) antifungal treatment- you need to self-medicate regularly over a period of several weeks. Try to see your doctor for this.

To reduce the fissuring, wash the area with emollient soaps and apply moisturiser afterwards. A mild steroid/antifungal cream like Daktacort ointment or Canesten-HC will also help.

    Rgds,

    Adhari
