IS THIS ANXIETY??

I was Driving home from work an hour ago and I was hit by a bout of dizziness like I was in my own bubble and has to concentrate really hard on my driving and the cars around me. I now have what feels like a lump in my chest and I feel slightly spaced out. I’m also cold and feel numb. Has anyone else experienced this with anxiety???

My main concern is the feel like lump in my chest like something is stuck.

Everyones symptoms of anxiety are a bit different but it sounds like anxiety to me. I often get that lump in my throat feeling. Everything will be okay, just try and get to a place where you can be comfortable and try to relax, I know its easier said then done. Hope you have a better day!

      Thank you josh.

Just so scary as I’m use to anxiety/panic attacks, but this one seems to be so different from all the others.

I’ve calmed down a bit now but my head is banging And still feel spaced out. X

Yes I had a similar experience I asked my friends -they suggested asking for a second medical opinion

Those are side effects of the celexa..if your doctor will give you a benzo ..you will feel better ...only use for example a xanex when ever you feel yucky..I was the same as you or probably worst ... thank goodness for the xanex.

Has it gone away now? If yes I would definitely assume it is anxiety! Currently I feel as if there is a lump in my throat and heat rate has been high

      Hi Rachael,

It did eventually go away took a few hours though for me to stay calm and go with the flow. Trying not to think the worst. How are you feeling now? X

Last night was rough, I think I was putting my self in a anxiety attack, if it’s not one thing it’s another, feeling okay this morning going to try and stay positive through out the day!

That actually has a name it's called globus pharyngeus, I don't get it but it's quite common with anxiety. I did google it btw smile
