so ive had the mother of all infections chronic for about ten months now... it has caused all sorts of grief and i have always been convinced its from some sort of imbalance. i can literally feel some antibiotics reducing pain a bit (augmentin) and some making worse (keflex). not to mention the BC this grew!

symptoms are: burning going to bathroom, a bit of a rash, mild swelling, painful arouns vagina opening. SO much discharge like will soak through my underpants

i went to a new gynae and he looked at me and said it looks like BV and gave me metronidazole and omg i can feel the pain gradually slipping away... im on day 3 and worried my symptoms havent cleared! i just went for a walk and lots of diacharge still 😦 pic attached image

unfortunately, antibiotics don't always work, if youre done with your medication, i suggest going in one more time to see if they can prescribe you more/a different kind/longer length of the medication and if that doesnt work i suggest using boric acid suppositories! they did not clear my bv but its the closest thing to clear it, some people have used it for 7 to 14 days and then once or three times a week! hope yours gets cured soon!

i know exactly how you feel. i suffered from bv for 4 years but i recently cured my bv/yeast infection by using (liquid capsules) oil of oregano. I found a youtube video of a young lady taking the 4 drops of oil of oregano and diluted it with extra virgin olive oil and would drink that 3 times day. I thought that was too much. So i bought the liquid capsules (70% carvacrol ) and took it 2 or 3 times a day every morning. i promise after two weeks my husband stated he did not smell my bv while being intimate and then i was like omg my bv is gone. I was so HAPPY! like i would smell my underwear and it smelled like me again lol . I hope this helps you!
