its some kind of skin problem it could be a few things causing that thrush can cause it also so can other skin conditions i suggest if the cream isnt working or showing improvements after a week of use then u need to be going back to a doctors or see a skin specialist

The doctor said the only thing he can give is the cream there is nothing else!
The hospital nurses do not treat skin problems (what about burns?)
I went to a skin clinic and they said you need to see your GP
So, round and round you go in circles.
Would sleeping every night with a warm wet towel covering the area help in the daytime it seems the more moist the area is the better as his stomach overlaps his groin not allowing air in?

u could try a barrier cream like what they use for babies when they have nappy rash i dont know wat else to suggest its not a burn its more likley its been caused by bacteria under the the overhanging skin like sweating etc

moisture allows bacteria to grow do not keep it wet it will make it worse

I don't understand why it happening all the time after it clears up.
I think he needs to be in a Jacuzzi everyday as he doesnt fit in a bath.

not washing often enough can cause it its just bacteria thats caused it ...specially if the area is warm and damp its the perfect condition for bacteria to grow they like warm damp placesit needs to dry out and like a said some komd of barrier cream thats used for nappy rash or something applying to it

Someone mentioned vaseline to protect it may try a little to test it don't want it inflamed again takes weeks to get better.
