Is this drops safe?

Hello my name is Ali and I tried eye color changing drops from a company called 'lighteyez',

The company is in the UK, they have average website that gives a nice feeling - but there is no phone answer.

There is a response in the email (very slow) , by a team that looks professional with a kind and respectful attitude.

They declare that all the materials from which they produce the drops are 100% organic materials that have been approved by the USDA.

On the site, they declare that their drops will make a change in the eye color within 4-8 months.

I bought the most expensive drops (500$ a month).

Unfortunately, after a full year of continuous use I haven't seen any change (13 months have passed).

Has anyone heard of them? Could it be a scam? Should I be worried? After all I took their drops for a whole year.

Please, I'm very worried that it could harm my vision.

Ali

I don't see how an organic ingredient would be able to change your eye color. I doubt this product has gone through many safety tests. If it were me personally I would not use. Id be worried that it is not only decreasing the melanin in the front of the eye but also in the back. Id look into what testing they have done.

Totally agree with k51095. Organic doesnt mean safe and approved to ophthalmic standards. Plenty of things are organic but you would not want them near you and especially not in your eyes.. The company has a registered address in the UK at Companies house but the drops are not made in UK. USDA may well have approved the individual ingredients but have they approved the combined use of these for the eyes?

The melanin of your eyes helps to keep out damaging rays from the sun. People with dark eyes have evolved like that for a reason. These drops have a melanin suppressant as the active ingredient but does it continue to also take out the protective melanin in the retina as well as the iris?

I would say stop these drops at once and save your money and your sight. You only have one pair of eyes so dont mess around with them just for the sake of fashion and vanity.
