Is this genital herpes? Please help!

I recently had protected sex with a stranger (female), it has been about a week and I got these symptoms about two days ago. I have got a bunch of red 'spots' on both my thighs-towards the back with the right thigh worse. I have been getting discomfort/light pain in the right thigh where the spots are.

The woman didn't have any visible sores. I haven't got any sores/blisters yet, when do they come about?

I am worried sick, please help me! Picture of the right/worse thigh is attached

Picture quality not great... since it is now 48 hrs, if those were herpes blister, you should have little open sores an scabs now.

From the picture , it kinda looks like irritated skin follicles. Hope that's all.

Thanks for the reply, it still is pretty much the same, no blisters, no pain upon touching, no itchyness, only slight discomfort when there's friction with clothing. Though it doesn't seem to be recovering (it has been 4/5 days since they appeared) and I have been applying antiseptic cream. I have attached more clearer pictures, I have mentioned in the corner of each picture which side thigh it is, though I don't think it matters much.

notice how the redness is focused at the base of each hair follicle? That's what I mean by folliculitis. Sweating opens pores ( that have hair follicles), like maybe exercise , hot shower, sex, then the skin gets in contact with irritant.

For example: famous prank on newbies to construction site would be tell them to go home and have a hot shower to get all the grit and dust off, when in fact a cool shower is best to wash as it keeps pores closed. Next day, poor newbie in agony....

I went to a GUM clinic today and the nurse said the same thing, it looks like an irritated hair follicle-which is a relief! I was wearing skinny jeans which were a bit tight a day before they appeared and it was a hot day.

Can you recommend anything to help clear them up? And how long do they remain for? I still get some irritation when theres friction with clothing (I am wearing looser trousers). The nurse didn't really give much advise on how to manage it.
