Its flat and shiny skin on both sides of my inner buttock area, it itches, peels, and gets dry and turns white. There's also small little circular lesions that bleed. It does hurt when have to scratch it, sometimes it won't go away! I don't have any pain when I pee and I never seen scabs but its so annoying! (sorry its gross)

A few years. My boyfriend doesn't have any issues. Its always in the same exact spot. I never have lesions or sores anywhere else.

does it go away and come back? how frequently does it come back etc?

It never goes away. 😦 it stays like that then it will start getting irritated and peel in the whole area.

Maybe because you are using stuff without consulting a doctor.

    hey,

i just had similar symptoms and the best advise i'd give is go get checked. As when i spoke to a doctor they said it was most likely thrush. She also said that if it was a herpes out break first time it would be painful and there would be blisters and sores. So i would say call a doctor.

Also you can test for thrush using the canesteen test from any pharmacy.

hi jane! that does not look like herpes and it is very similar to what i had which they named 'chronic candida vulvoginitis' or something like that. it is a persisting yeast infection - in my case mild. go to the doctor and ask for a swab for yeast and for herpes (but that aint herpes, just do it so youre in the clear)
