Is this Gerd?

I've had Gerd on and off through my adult life and more so with each of my pregnancies.

I had the typical burning of the throat and hoarse voice at times.

After my most recent pregnancy the Gerd went pretty much straight away then I started getting indigestion.. With that is was the pain in the chest area which went away.

Now I'm wondering if my Gerd is back as I'm getting a gagging feeling at the back of my throat, mucous feeling there and I can't shift it, feels like a lump in my throat but that's not all the time, and it happens more after I eat, before bed and mornings are the worst times and if I've not eaten for a really long stretch say 8hrs it comes on.

I don't actually feel like I want to be sick but the gagging feeling is making me feel sickly.

It's driving me potty!

Medications I'm on are:

Ferrous Fumerate 210mg 1-2 tablets daily.

Folic Acid 5mg- 1 a day.

I alternate my days of taking them as I have a medication phobia and won't take medicines together.

Does this sound like Gerd?

Thanks for the reply. Doesn't help with having asthma too.

I think my cat allergy is coming back since my cat has given birth and we now have 5 kittens running around the place.

Are there any other symptoms you get?
