Is this herpes?

I had unprotected sex once with a guy but only bc both condoms broke. that was 7 months ago. I got oral from him but anyway, I got a really itchy red patch on the top of my vagina, I put steroid on it and it went away 2 days later. Then a month later I got 2 bumps on the lower half portion of my vagina that blot bled with no scab after ward. Well last week on Friday I got 10 bumps that itched like crazy on the bottom half both labia but no pain or burning. Just itched like crazy. This is the part that confuses me, i got bumps and itching but no pain or burning. I have bacterial vaginosis which doesnt produce bumps, but can be itchy at times. i was waking up at night itching myself but I put more topical steriod and it helped immensely. Is it herpes?

Hi, I am not 100% sure, but the bumps on the lower part of the vagina and labia does sound like herpes. In my experience, sores are not always painful! The best thing to do is go the see your doctor/clinic so they can swab! Good luck x

That ia herpes.. Not everyone has pain or itching. Everyone's body handles it differently. You're reading mainly of people who experience bad primary obs and it sounds like you've had it for some time and arw having pretty mild obs. I just had a couple red itchy bumps breakout on my vutt ans they don't hurt and went away. That was a recurrent ob for me. You need to be tested immediately, because that sounds like herpes. You can't base what yiu have, not meeting the "classic text book" case of herpes, as there is none. Everybody's immune system is as unique as our finger prints, so there is no telling how your body will react. Every person on here I've read their posts or communicate w, have never had the exact same symptoms as myself. Similar w some, but not the same.

I have a friend that only gets it on the front in the publix area as well. Mine goes anywhere. While my body seemed like it was having a recurrent ob, last week my lympth nodes got swollen in my groin and tender, but I never broke out on my genitals, but I did not on anus and a couple itchy bumps on my buttock. My selling in my groin went away over the weekend and no more bumps have popped up on my butt and my anus ia still irritated w fissures and I'm someone who had a horrendous primary ob w severe neuropathy, that required an ER visit and to be put on nerve pain meda for months, because it was debilitating. I was on daily meds and had symptoms every day and obs at least once or twice a monthe on my genitals, but very mild. I decided to quit my meds almost a month ago and I have less symptoms off them, than I do on them now. So see? You never know how your body will react and I have like 22 sores on the outside for my primary ob, not counting what was inside.

    Go get tested immediately

I don't think you necessarily will have one. I'd do some analyzing and see if the times you experienced the more pronounced symptoms, if you were run down, stressed out, had vigorous sex, had your period, drank a lot of alcohol, sick from a virus going round, lack of sleep, hormonal changes, etc.. Anything that would bring your immune system down and that may identify triggers for you. Since your body appears to suppress the virus quite well, you may not. The fact that it is being more symptomatic, may be indicative of something going on w your body if it continues.
