is this herpes!

I woke up 2 days ago and my labia was red and swollen. Thinking it was just irritated I just put some aloe vera gel on it and went on about my day. The next day I woke up and saw a white lump. Went and got swab tested now I'm just waiting on the results. I've never had any pimples down there and I have not had sex in 6 weeks. I've only had sex with one person this year. Please help. If it is herpes how do I let them know? I've never had any sexual issues ever in life so I feel like he could have gave it to me, knowingly or unknowingly. It's gonna be a long week until I get the results back

Don't panic and don't get into conclusion! Wait for the test results. Herpes 2 usually is colorless.
So just keep clean and wear protection if u have sex.
Blessings!

A condom provides only 30% protection for herpes, so it is advised to refrain from sex completely during ob. The most likely time to transmit herpes is during ob, even moreso during first ob, since the infected individual has no antibodies, so will be shedding the virus most heavily.
Sounds to me, even when their partner is infected too, many people refrain from sex during outbreaks, because it may be painful, uncomfortable, or prolong the ob by irritation and may spur further outbreak. My outbreak wasn't that bad and my partner is infected too, so we still have (gentle) sex. But it does definitely seem to have prolonged the ob, since it was 4weeks total. It was my initial ob.
One thing to give hope you don't have herpes- initial ob often have systemic symptoms. This means flu like symptoms. Mine were fever, fatigue, pain deep in buttcheek and leg, headache, floods of watery vaginal discharge.

I have no other symptoms and only this one white bump. It's not small and it doesn't look like a cluster of bumps. But no flu like symptoms no headache. None of that. My SO lives 3 hours away so no sex has been had in 6 weeks. Also, does hair typically grow from OB blisters? There are several hairs and a brown speck in the bump. That's why I'm a little confused.

It's on my upper left labor majora so when I use the restroom it's not affected. Not red anymore but the first day it was red and swollen then the raised bump appeared the next day. Was sore at first now I don't even feel it. Idk if that's because I've been treating it with tea tree oil and aloe vera gel or not.

Ok, I'm not a formal or informal expert or anything... But seems to me, my GH sores were red only on the bump, not surrounding area.... Then I got in 2 area what seemed more like just a puffy, slightly sore, slightly rashy spot that never blistered or got a bump/s. It also was GH though. OB lesions seem to take different forms sometimes.

How long have you had it and how many OBs do you get? If you don't mind me asking.

first exposure 8 mos ago, but not sure when I actually contracted it, since we're still together now. First OB started October 10th. Just finishing up now. My ob was really mild, but lasted long. I think having we'd prolonged the ob, cuz every time we did, the existing ones got kinda puffy and within 2 days, I had a new one. Had sex 3 times now since October 10.
