Is this herpes?

I recently came in contact with someone that had herpes. Unfortunately, she told me afterwards. She said she hadn't had an outbreak in 7 years and has never given it to anyone. The last time she was checked was Feb 2018. I was tested 2 weeks after the protected sex but unprotected oral sex and tested negative but part of me thought it was too early to tell. It's been a month now and I recently shaved my pubic area and these bumps popped up along with a bigger one with pus. I am 98% sure they are ingrown hairs but I still want to be sure. Pretty sure I am just paranoid but still would like to know.

Not herpes. Ingrown hair. You see the hair follicle in the center and it’s inflamed. Pluck the hair and it will be fine.

Let me also point out after the negative test result I started having sex with someone else. They had a rash on their hip that we thought was a bug bite but was very itchy to them and got bigger but probably because they kept scratching. It has since gone away. Also she now has 1 bump on her buttocks that looks like popped blister that scabbed but it was just one. I don't think it was herpes but wasn't sure. Nothing has been clusters though.

I have been in the position as well. He decided not to tell me until AFTER. Since then I've had the worst health anxiety (this was 2 years ago! and his outbreak was 3 years prior to that and never had one since apparently). I check myself daily, any sign of irritation I start to panic. I did go for a blood test after he told me but I've since read from this website that it may have been too soon as well - but I've never had an outbreak and also had a full STD screening about 3 months ago.

From your photos, I'd say it's an ingrown hair.

Thanks so much. Yeah I don't understand how people can be so selfish.
