Is this Herpes?!?

Posted , 6 users are following.

I've had a few of these bumps for over 3-4 weeks. I recently got a brazilian wax and it seems like I have more bumps now. It was never blisters, it itches sometimes and especially when touched. It doesn't burn when I pee and I have no other symptoms. I got checked and I have no Stds, im waiting for my herpes results. I've been losing sleep worrying about this. image

ty for responding. I'm not sure why the doctor didnt mention Hpv, she ruled out Std because my results were negative and said that it might be folliculitis. Still havent heard back from my dr regarding my results though. I will definitely go see another doctor.

Although I dont know what specifically you were tested for, I will say from experience that they usually only test for HIV, AIDS, Syphillis, and Chlamydia maybe Gonorrhea when you go for standard STD testing. So its imprtant to ask specifically for other tests. I personally have folliculitis on my genital area from shaving and that definitely looks like HPV. Talk to your doctor tho.

Actually, that looks like HPV/Genital Warts. Google some photos of the HPV infection.

its not herpes,(i strongly believe it is not hpv and even if it is hpv,its low risk so your doctor is right because the warts have a specific shape " cauliflower")

you did right by going to the doctor, but there is nothing to be worried about

thank you for responding. I got my herpes results today and it was negative, so you're right. I scheduled another appointment with a different doctor to see if it is hpv
