Is this Herpes?

I have unprotected sex 1 month ago. 1 week afterwards I had a sore throat and swollen glands in my neck with an increase in fordyce spots on my lips and panicked that I had herpes. I had all STD testing that could be done at 2 weeks which came back negative and my doctor insisted that I had no classic symptoms or sores and was fine. However, she had no explanation for the spots or an increase in irritation and dryness on my lips. I have since had a large increase in acne (or what I hope is acne as it doesn't seem to resemble classic cold sores) around my mouth but not directly on my lip line. My lips are constantly cracking and dry and the lining of my gums and cheeks seems to be constantly shedding. Yesterday, I noticed a small bump inside my cheek and after looking at all of the pictures I could find of herpes inside the mouth, I truly can't tell what I think it is. Unfortunately, I am away at college out of state from my parents and my health insurance won't allow for an easy doctor's or dental visit. I guess my question is whether you might think said bump is herpes? It is tender but I would not say it's painful. I had stopped panicking after my doctor at home had said I was fine but my mouth, lips and area around are just not normal and I'm not sure what to think. image
