Is this Herpes?

Posted , 5 users are following.

I recently had a yeast infection a few days after protected sex. During the time of the infection my skin tore. But now its starting to become an outbreak of sores. Im concerned that it might be herpes due to saliva. I also have lichen sclerosus so my skin is prone to tears.

Hi Sara, get yourself to a doctor to get checked out, the number of sores you have do indicate that this might be herpes, if it is then youll want to get some anti virals to help. try not to panic, there are thousands of us in the same boat here x

I went to the doctor and still waiting for my results. I talked to my boyfriend about it and he said he's never had herpes or a cold sore so I really dont know how to feel. I havent been with anyone besides him. and these sores are getting worse even with the medication

how are you feeling now? just because your boyfriend has never had any symptoms doesn't mean he's in the clear, most people don't have symptoms!

Im feeling 100% better my sores are almost healed which is weird to me. I began putting diluted tea tree oil on them and now theyre just disappearing.
