no dont say that. if its herpes its not the end of the world. you'll be okay i promise. its very manageable. i felt the same way when i was diagnosed but it gets better. you take your medication and live a normal life. you will be just fine!

don't let people's reaction scare you. I shared my problem here and i almost robbed myself of life when someone here confirmed that I had herpes. I just came from the doctor and it's folliculitus , so people please dont be scared just go to your doctor.

folliculitis does NOT look like that. im actually really sick of incompetent doctors telling people its just folliculits or razor bumps cause its easiest. its a hassle just to get docs to test you for herpes. herpes just not cause literal ulcers.

i saw 2 doctors first one said ingrowns and when it didnt heal after 2 days another doctor tried to tell me mine were ingrown hairs and i had to ask for them to be swabbed twice before she agreed and when she called me 3 days later she goes "hey so your swab was positive for hsv2 and im so shocked i really thought it was ingrowns" so yeaaaaaa always swab

THIS!! always ask for swabs. a lot of these doctors really dont know what herpes looks like. it's so overlooked by medical professionals. they dont even test for it in standard std testing.
