Today i went and got tested because a few days after me and my baby father was in the mist of having sex but i made him stop because it was too painful. Sores werent visible at all. Around 2 days ago i noticed a couple sores on my private area. it really hurts when you touch & it burns when i urinate. i got tested today and i get my results on thursday. Obgyn said it does look like herpes & gave me meds to take just in case it is. Does anyone know what this could possibly be? Mind you im 17 weeks pregnant!

unfortunately this is how my first outbreak looked only difference was i only had 2 round sores. they may have appeared to days later because you were in the prodromal stages of an outbreak which is when you get symptoms .

go to doctor right away it is very likely (can lay dormant for years and years). could be ingrown hairs or pimples but to be safe go as soon as you can. they will give you medication (antibiotics) to get you through your pregnancy to help prevent outbreaks if it is herpes. keep them clean and dry drink lots and lots of water! rest lots. but talk to doctor asap!
