help please! Recently i have been having issues where my vagina is concerned. The other day, i started seeing thick, cottage cheese-like discharge and was experiencing itching... after itching for a while i realized that i was feeling a break in the skin which started to hurt when i pee. I used monistat-3 which cleared up the discharge but i was still itching so i itched and rubbed which resulted in me breaking the skin at a different part. I was worried and went to the doctor and just by examination, without touching or feeling, he said i had hsv-2 and started me on medication... Honestly i jusg want a second opinion before i even take a blood test or just to see if a blood test is even necessary. Do you think this is hsv-2?? there wasnt a bump there before... image

    i'm doing an sti-9 test today but i wont get back the results until 2 weeks time. I just want some input so i can prepare myself please
