This looks very concerning in regards to herpes. I would highly recommend going to see your primary to get tested. i would also being this picture along with you just in case they don't want to listen. Ask for a swab test if you are not already healed and a blood test regardless of the healing stage. Swab tests are 90% accurate and blood test are about 75% accurate at best. Depending on when you contracted the virus you'll have antibodies that show up on a blood test. A swab test is a cotton tip swab the doc uses to take a sample from a lesion then they grow it in a lab and tell you what you have and what type.

I started with burning when i pee i spoke to my doctor who tested my urine & gave me antibiotics for a urine infection over the next couple of days the pain was so immense i ended up in A&E on the friday i had a vaginal examination & they tested my urine again & said i had a water infection still & gave me more antibiotics, on saturday i noticed these ulcers & on sunday seen an emergency out of hours gp who diagnosed me with herpes but didnt do any swabs etc.
i havent contacted a sexual health clinic yet as im struggling to come to terms with the diagnosis.
i hadnt had sex for just over a year but recently got with a new partner & weve only had sex once & he has no symptoms or sores etc i did have bloods done on the friday in a&e and they said they was clear! i still have the sores now but there no where near as bad i was hoping the doctor got it wrong but think its highly unlikely

if youve just recently contracted the virus it can take up to three months to show in blood. Just because your new partner doesnt have any signs or symptoms doesn’t mean that he wasn’t shedding. Shedding occurs about 30 days out of the year and it has no visible signs or symptoms, but the person is still contagious when shedding. You need to go back to your doctor or clinic and ask for antivirals because you’ve already had an outbreak. Because you’ve had an outbreak chances of you having another are quite high. This STI is not something that is life-threatening. However, it is life-changing and super annoying when you do experience outbreaks like the one you’re having now. Many doctors do not want to test or tell a patient that they have herpes due to the stigma surrounding this virus. Just know that it’s not the end of the world and you will be OK . This virus is only a skin infection. It does not cause death or other complications such as infertility you can still carry on about your normal life. You just need to be educated and allow your partners to decide whether or not they want to chance contracting the virus by having sex with you. But if you’re on antiviral medication’s daily, the chances of transmission, go down to less than 10% as if you were not taking them at all. So you may educate yourself and choose to take antivirals so that you’re not as contagious as you would be if you were taking them at all
