Is this Herpes? Help me please, I'm scared

I am very sexually active, I have had various sexual partners, but all of them with protection except for two of them, my two exes. One of them did show me his test results, while the other one I simply believed. I have not been with either of them for months. The one that never showed me, I haven't been with him since October and the other I started dating in January, but broke up in March. I have only recently started to feel an itching sensation in my downstairs. At first I thought it was a yeast infection, but I started getting bumps, so I thought it was a bad yeast infection. Then once again I started getting more bumps that itch and hurt when I pee, it also hurts after walking a lot. Could this be herpes or am I just freaking out?

Hard to say. Why don't you go see a doctor and get it swabbed for herpes? That's the best thing you can do if you are worried and have suspicious lesions. The swab test loses accuracy over time, so make an appointment asap.

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for encouraging me to go get checked out. I was told I do have the virus, although I was in shock at first I feel like I can breath now knowing what it actually is and knowing how to treat it

My first outbreak happened a week after sleeping with my ex partner. I know everyone is different but mine started at what I can only describe as little cuts nothing like I imagine herpes to look like. The pain was excruciating. I never in a million years thought it was an sti as he said he had been tested! 2 years later I'm still coming to terms with it. But I would just go and get checked out to be safe

I was diagnosed with the virus.... The day after my post I started having an extreme pain and decided to go to the doctor that same day even though my appointment is not till next week. They luckily had a doctor doing walk-ins and she saw me and told me what it was. She also gave me medication and I've since felt better, but at first I had sleep with my legs open so it wouldn't hurt much and I'm still having to go in the shower and pee on the tub wetting myself just to alleviate the pain. Maybe it's too much info, but I just would like to know... Does it get better? And is there any tips to alleviate the pain when it gets too bad?

With very little detail it is really hard to understand what it could be but surely seems like it could be a possibility.

Are they pimple like? did they pop? are they pussing or leaking?

i would defiantly go and get them checked and swobed. you want to be 100% that it is herpes. it might be an allergic reaction you never no but it's better to be safe then sorry.

does it hurt to just urinate or does it hurt when the urine goes on the sores?

i noticed a sore a week after having sex but everyone is different.

Update: I went to the doctor the day after my prior post. I started having an extreme pain and decided to go to the doctor that same day. I had previously made an appointment, but it's not until next week, but I just HAD to go. They luckily had a doctor doing walk-ins and she saw me and told me what it was. Unfortunately, I WAS diagnosed with

Herpes, but I do feel better knowing what I have and how to treat it properly. Of course I still have tons to learn, but the only thing that matters now is that I'm doing better. Thank you for your concern
