Is this herpes? HPV? Or abrasions from sex???

it doesnt hurt or itch. i had a papsmear 7 months ago and came back negative for everything. but, sometimes it burns during sex and i have a small bump on my vagina lip. my next papsmear is supposed to be next year, but should i go back earlier???image

    i'm going through the same thing! have you had any protected/ unprotected sex recently?

      i have unprotected sex with my boyfriend of two years, but we both have been tested for everything except herpes. and he hasnt been tested for Hpv bc i dont think men can

      well it doesnt look like herpes at all to me. but who knows.

    Hey, I dont really see what bump your talking about or see anything that looks abnormal. It does kind of look like you have some extra discharge in the photo but kind of hard to tell. If the bump appears in your hair line area I wouldnt be too concerned, it would most likely be a hair follicle . If you are talking about the little brown dots all over the place, those are normal! They are sometimes easier to see than others, they are just pores/glands they help regulate moisture. But since you have some burning with intercourse and it comes and goes you should definitely call to be on the safe side!

      yeah im talking about the brown dots! my inner skin is usually pink so i was confused when they showed up! they do come and go and they have a texture. im scheduling an apt for next month!

      In the mean time, look up vulvar fordyce spots! Totally normal, and develop as you get older. Sometimes they can get irritated and pop out. Its always good to go to the doctor. If it helps, this definitely isnt herpes though, I have herpes so I can promise you that one!

    all those brown spots really doesnt look like herpes (and then it would hurt wayyyy more) but wouldnt know what else it iszz

    maybe its skin irritation, do you use good lube? who knows it helps.
