Looking for me like typical herpes.

When you have pain and swollen lymphs this would be supporting my statement

The best thing I can suggest is that you go get tested. How long have they been there? Are there any more popping up? There's really no way to know for sure without a test and even a test can come back as a false negative if the sores are too far along in the healing process.

i got tested today. I just noticed it yesterday. i am so stressed out. the doctor said the one on the inside looks like it could be from trauma. and the spot on the outside looks like it could be from shaving but shes not postive, and the one on the outside was never a bloster. i now feel like im getting another spot, this one does look like a blister. and im freaking out.

This is almost exactly the way my first outbreak happened and I also have an HSV1 diagnosis. I had 2 more very small outbreaks after that, that I felt coming on, and was able to start taking Valtrex before they got in full swing. I haven't had an outbreak since then and it's been almost a year at this point. My doctor explained to me that HSV1 prefers the mouth and that while it can obviously pop up on the genitals, the outbreaks are far less frequent and often less extreme because it doesn't thrive there. She told me that getting type 1 genitally is almost like winning the herpes lottery. I forget that I have it 99% of the time and only really remember if I feel like maybe I'm starting an outbreak. I call in a refill of my Valtrex and haven't ever gotten to an outbreak since I've always been able to take it early enough. If you need anything, don't hesitate to send me a message!

it happened 2 days after, but we used a condom. but he did give me oral, he says he doesnt have anything. i also shaved that day and noticed it was hurting while i was shaving. i used an old razor, maybe that has something to do with it? i feel like im getting more spots though. not very painful, but kind of itchy

a condom protects a woman about 96% i believe but the oral is fair game unfortunately. two days after is fairly typcial as well. i would suggest swabbing as early as possible they recommend 0-72 hrs. i really recommend looking up the herpes forum on reddit and terri warren.

i am sorry 😦 but know this doesnt change who you are! there is a lot to process after this for sure how are you feeling? Do you know about reddit? thats a great place to join and find the subreddit r/herpes and r/herpespositive theres so much good information on there and lot of people to talk with. i will say if this is your primary outbreak chances are you will have extremely minor outbreaks if any at all in the future

Did your doctor prescribe anything? I was prescribed a topical lidocaine gel/ointment that did wonders for the pain. Did they put you on valtrex?
