Is this herpes on my scrotum? Depressed

Posted , 5 users are following.

imageso 11 months ago I had an unprotected encounter. I didn't suffer any symptoms for about 3 months after. I took 1g azithtomax in case asymptomatic chlamydia. soon after I got a red rash on my penis so I figured irritation. had irritation all the way until October. now 5 days I noticed these two dry spots that kinda popped up figured ingrown hair or irritated follicles. they didn't itch or hurt until I started picking at them. now I'm suspecting this is my primary outbreak.imageimageimage

the circled one is the first one that healed since I quit picking at it.

I am sorry, I wish I knew and could help you! It doesn't look bad, but maybe you could get a blood test? Nothing looks oozy so IDK if they could do a swab.

      Good luck!

thank you for replying. it's not a typical lesion which confuses me and yea It was never oozing and it would be too late for a swab now. I am getting a blood test after new years. just wanted some second opinions.

Aw, the hardest part really is the anxiety that accompanies the possibility. Please, keep us posted on your results! I will cross my fingers for you!

hey quick update. I'm starting to think hpv. I inspected my scrotum closer and found small warts almost skin tag like but I'm pretty sure they were not there before. still taking blood test, but being almost 1 year and no real outbreak im suspecting hpv caused my balanitis irritation before.
