Is this herpes or a bad yeast infection?

six nights ago I went on a date with this guy and ended up having unprotected sex with him (stupid i know). when he went down on me it was for a long time and started making my vagina literally raw so at one point we stopped and then started having sex which was very, very rough. It was to the point where once we stopped I could definitely feel the soreness in my cervix.

I waited maybe 15 minutes at the most until I got up and showered and went pee and as soon as I went pee I immediately felt a really strong burning feeling but I just had assumed that it was because the sex was very rough. When I got home and sat down I could feel a lot of pressure and soreness in my cervix still, so I went to bed and woke up and I was still sore but it was nothing unbearable but at one point I started to get really itchy down there so I took another hot shower and felt fine after. The next day when I woke up I was having really bad itching and burning to the point where I had to hold an ice pack on it.

it was also a holiday so most of the clinics were closed and I couldn’t even get tested that day let alone go to urgent care so I pretty much had to wait it out. On the fourth day I was finally able to go to urgent care and the doctor did a full panel test including swapping me and physically checking my vagina and at one point he said that I just had a lot of yeast up there and that sometimes having unprotected sex with someone and letting them ejaculate and you can mess up your pH balance and cause a yeast infection but that he didn’t think it was anything serious however he would still run tests anyway. he prescribe me fluconazole and gave me an antifungal cream since I told him I can’t use Monistat because Monistat has burned my skin before.

it’s a few days later now and the itching has gone away and I no longer see any more yeast build up when i check down there in the mirror like I did at first but it still was burning and stinging uncontrollably when I go pee so I checked in the mirror and noticed these sores last night and now I’m freaking out. I woke up this morning and it was so much more worse, everything is super tender and raw right now and anything that touches it stings. I don’t know if this is just a severe yeast infection and also the result of rough sex or if I could possibly have herpes. i still have a few days till i get the test results. I talked to the guy and he told me he doesn’t think that it could be anything serious because he hasn’t showed symptoms but I know dang well that you don’t necessarily always have to show symptoms to have it.

I am in so much pain and so stressed out because I have no idea what this is and I have never dealt with this before. I’m 22 years old and I’m afraid that this is going to completely change and ruin my life and my self-esteem and I’m already going through so much at the moment

(I apologize for the blood, I started my period literally a day after I was prescribed the fluconazole which has only made things worse because I have to wear a pad and it has been rubbing up against my vagina in the midst of all this and locking and heat which has not helped at all)

Try to get swabbed while sores are still open. Unfortunately, sounds and definitely looks like HSV.

Did you find out what this was?

It looks like a first outbreak of herpes, a very painful one. But best check this out with a swab as soon as possible.

If it come back I would soak it in a very weak solution of Dettol and apply some Sudocrem to sooth it. It used to work for me.

    Hope this helps.
