Does anyone know what this looks like? Burning, painful and sometimes itchy. Looks similar to mine.

Giving me anxiety, too.

I went to urgent care the other day this week, I didn't notice any lesions. The Physician Assistant says it could be a yeast infection. But later that day I was washing the scrotum and it started to burn. They gave me clotrimazole with steroids to use for 10 days. Now I see lesions. Any help??

It could be jock itch or herpes or contact dermatitis etc. I recommend maybe going to a dermatologist. If you suspect that it's Herpes, either get it swabbed if viable or take an IGG blood test for both 1 and 2 in about 3 months. Well wishes to you.

I just went to my primary care physician. He suspects it is a fungal infection. The irritated skin and sore comes from myself scratching. Plus I never saw any blisters forming, just went to a wound/ sore like.

I had protected sex. But this woman I encountered has slept around. I saw my primary care physician today. He says it is nothing but a fungal infection. The Urgent care physician assistant I saw a week ago, has over 20 years of urology experience.

That was my first assumption as well, during the summer time jock itch is more prevalent. If you're sleeping with promiscuous people be sure to continue to use condoms AND leave your boxers on to eliminate the skin on skin contact to greatly reduce possible herpes and hpv transmission. Most importantly, dont forget to get tested every 6 months to a year.

      Well wishes to you.

I will be wearing some sort of scrotal guard to cover my genital area and use condoms regularly.
