Is this herpes or just a rash?

    It looks less herpetic & more rash like to me -- the most concerning part of the pics are the red bumps, as they remind me of HSV ulcers. However, they appear to be less clustered & more scabbed over/healed. How long has the rash been there? What's your pain level?

      i have had it for kind of off and on for few weeks. not really any pain unless touched with pressure but even then basically none. ive had 3 big bulges under the skin on my scrotum all at different times in which were a little sore. ive had itching. but little backstory is ive been with the same partner for 7-8 years and have never been with anyone else since same for partner. and ive never had this before.

    I'm not as educated on the appearance of lesions in males as I am in vaginal outbreaks, so I can't say for certain. If they are continuously popping up, I think your best bet is to visit a primary care physician & get a blood test.
