hi, can anyone tell me if this on my nose is herpes? cold sore? or what is this? and how do i find out if i have herpes? i need to do blood test?

The lesion looks very similar to a herpes lesion, but you can go to a general practitioner or dermatologist to get an accurate diagnosis and receive the appropriate treatment.
There are two types of tests for the diagnosis of Herpes simplex infection (genital or labial herpes): one is done on the blood and measures the presence of antibodies against the virus, also known as HSV, and the other measures the presence of DNA of the virus in genital or labial lesions by PCR method.
