Is this herpies or poison oak/ivy/sumac?

Posted , 3 users are following.

I had sex with a woman who didn't have any visible signs of any bumps like herpies or poison leafs and this is on my stomach.

I think I've had this for either 1 week or 2 weeks.

I've had poison oak/ivy many times in my life and these look and feel super similar but the sever purpling is a little concerning to me.

I do remember it looked kind of like that but still, I'm worried because my stupid father said it might be herpies.

Anyone have a keen eye and can tell me what this looks like?

Also, if anyone has herpies, please describe how it feels as best you can.

That looks very much like shingles.

You need to see your GP to get antiviral meds.

Sorry but your Dad is right as it's herpes but a different form of it.

    Much like chicken pox.

It can leave you feeling quite ill too, flu like symptoms.

You may also feel some discomfort/pain in your spine or side long after it has healed but it's not common.

The rash would start off as a tingle, to and itch which is painful if you scratch it.

Zovirax cream will help and alacvior (spelt incorrectly) tables should hit it on the head.

Keep an eye on this as it can spread.

Hope you get some ease soon.

Also there's a good chance it will come back as it's stored in your nerve endings.

If you are fun down or stressed?

You may have another flare up.

Please get the treatment you need asap.

Sorry, it's late here and I'm typing on my iPhone.

I literally have 0 symptoms, other than that rash.

Its not too painful, either I'm used to it or it's cause I've never scratched it.

Lastly: it hasnt spread any more than in the pic.

I just popped all the blisters, cleanly, sanatary and now the area is wrapped up.

We will see how it gets tomorrow. Its much better than when I got it and from when I posted.

I don't think it's shingles. A lot of places say shingles and herpies cause bleeding blisters. These were just oil.

So for the past 2 days I noticed a slight itch on my face, but I have a beard. This morning however, I noticed the itch was more than beard itch so I shaved it all off.

There is a tiny pink rash on my left side chin and I think I see the little blister near my mustashe.

I think I wanna just die if it is herpies.

Oh and it's not oil you are seeing but white (clear) blood cells.

They are trying to fight the virus that's under your skin but due to the amount it's almost impossible without proper treatment.

have you been to the doctors?

They can immeditately test it and tell you if it's herpes or not

Herpes is not that serious that you would want to die because of it?

The blistering doesn't bleed either unless it's been scratched at so much as to make it bleed.

    Please get some Zovirax cream!

It's the only thing that will calm this down.

Also see a doctor as your rash is widespread.

The rule of thumb is anything bigger than a U.K.

    2p piece needs attention.

It will reoccur throughout your life but each time it should be less than the time before.

    Google pics of shingles.

I know this subject well as I'm allergic to any form of herpes.

To me, that's what I'm seeing in your pic.

Sorry but you do need treatment as it looks quite bad.

Don't worry too much as it will get easier to deal with in time.

Keep the rash away from babies, children etc..

Their immune systems are not very strong.
