Is this lichen sclerosis? 23 year old female

I have been experiencing these paper cuts on and off for about two years now. I originally thought it was herpes sores, so had an STI check and got them swabbed. They came back negative and the nurse said it did not look like herpes, perhaps thrush?

They are like paper cuts all around my labia and under my vagina. They are sore, itchy and probably do come on with stress. I feel it will be hard to get a diagnosis in the UK with COVID at the moment, just wanted an opinion as I have seen the term paper cut on here a few times - that is the only way I can describe them.

Thanks in advance for any advise.imageimage

hi, I have LS and i too experience paper cut tears but i also have other symptoms of LS like clitoris hood fusing, white patch and the side labias. It doesn't look like you have the "white" characteristics of LS but i cant tell in the picture if your labias are fused together. your clitoris hood isn't fused either. do tou have other symptoms? burning and stinging? when do you get these tears? sex causes friction and can cause tears.

I would say yes this is, very similar to me and I was diagnosed via biopsy when I was 13, now 28. I'm in the UK too. Recommend going to get some steroid cream from the doctors as it does help get rid of the cuts, although they will come back eventually every so often. I haven't ever had fusing or whiteness, just itching and eventually cuts like this if I itch too much.

    Hope that helps!
