You need to see a dermatologist who knows about LS....soon. There are only 2 males who post here. Most are female so we can't really compare symptoms, but it's important that you get the proper care whatever the problem is. Good luck.

Here is the response I gave to the exact same posting in the Penis Disorders Forum of this Web site:

James, I am a Lichen Sclerosis (LS) sufferer and have been dealing with it for 8+ years. You are obviously right to be concerned with the symptoms you have clearly shown in the images you have posted.

    .

In my amateur opinion these are almost certainly not LS as what you get with LS is a white growth the sits on top of the normal level of skin and these are then irritated by almost anything you use on a regular basis such as lubes, skin cream, baby oil, condoms, and even some soaps and shower gels.

    .

The obvious question therefore is what is actually going on for you, and I would suggest the best medical professional to help you with this would be a Dermatologist that deals with Genital Skin Disorders.

    .

You can phone or go into any Sexual Health Center and ask how you get to see such a specialist.

    .

Please update your Forum Post here once you have seen any medical professional ......

Hi, James! Any news about these white spots? I have exactly the same spots about two years and nobody knows what it is. I visited a lot of doctors and one dermatologist (professor) said it is not look like LS, but he really doesn't know what it is exactly. I still doubt about this problem...

a lot of us have had to go to more than one doctor before getting the correct diagnosis, you might try another specialist or two if you still think something is wrong...
