Hi Everyone,
I'm 3 weeks post ankle surgery and in a fiberglass cast, bit worried as the incision site is itchy but very tender as well. I got the stitches out last Friday and the Dr said the site looked good just a bit worried as to why it's suddenly so tender, it's really hard not knowing what's going on under everything.

My incision got infected the internal stitches came up through the incision, bit that didnt happen until the fiberglass cast came off. They told me that they put antibiotic patches on under the cast to prevent infection? If you ate concerned its worth a trip to the Dr. They also told me that if its infected you would get a fever.
