I have spent today feeling like I have the worst hangover ever and since 4pm anxiety is increasing again I'm will be 8 weeks on this on Monday and had hoped that it would be working by now but these last few days I feel I'm getting worse the insomnia and pains in my chest are really upsetting me so going to try zopiclone tonight to see if I can sleep anyone had any experience with this sleeping tablet? Zopiclone had no effect on me even at the high dose !!..it shows how bad I am at sleeping though ..have heard good reports of it ..I think you should speak your doctor about the anxiety..maybe you need to change meds ?

Insomnia is a killer for increasing anxiety, without sufficient rest the body and brain go nuts on you.  I've no experience of zoplicone so cant comment sorry.  I have had insomnia since menopause a decade ago and on really bad days where I havent slept more than an hour the night before I find myself unable to do the simplest task without stressing and sit crying for hours, its hateful.  I've tried all the recommended physical stuff to induce sleep without much success but something that does help is 'belly breathing' - it's a form of meditation and some nights it really works and I nod off in about ten minutes.  Google it, it's a simple technique and even if it doesnt help you sleep it will calm you a lot so at least you're resting in bed rather than my perpetual panicked restlessness and continual up and down like a yoyo.  I get chest pains too and its due to the stress and edginess of not sleeping, as soon as I sleep a whole night, I feel so much better.
