Yes - when I increased to 50mg my anxiety went through the roof, it was pretty insane also my depression got worse it was a very rough ride. This lasted about two weeks up and down and then on about my 5th week on 50mg I started to feel better. I started to get more good days and some days were so good I couldn't believe it. I'm now into seven weeks and so pleased I stuck it out - I am feelling so much better I feel like I can get my life back - I hope this lasts. I'm so happy to feel normal I've struggled with anxiety and depression for years and wish I'd tried meds sooner - they have been a lifesaver. Hang in there if you can, it does get better 😃 .

Hi this is my first time here and in need of reassurance..came off sertraline 6 months ago and have just gone back on 1 week at 25mg and coming up to 5 weeks on 50mg ..I had some days where I felt this is working I felt stronger inside..but now I wake with shaking tremors and anxiety negative thoughts which pretty much last all day I do get a slight reprieve in the evenings ...my sleep and appetite have improved but not my anxiety or negative intrusive obsessive thoughts ...please tell me they go away and this is normal I'm 59 .
