if the discharge coming out is white clumpy and dry and and the area feels irritated or itchy its more than likely a yeast infection. Women experience this at least once in life many thing can trigger it such as diet and hormones even stress. Wear cotton underwear or cotton lined underwear ONLY. Drink plenty water reduce your intake of sugar, if it gets worse you may need a prescription for an oral antifungal ie diflucan or sporesac. In the meantime and over the counter yeast infection cream should be fine or you can ask your local pharmacist for canesten cream sometimes they give you it over the counter make sure you get one with insertions. You can also soak your lower half in warm water with a half vup of Apple cider vinegar with some drops of tea tree oil. And you can apply coconut oil to keep your skin moisturized as it is also antifungal.

thank you so much @tammy72! this is a great help though I am still confused why I bled hours later, is there a possibility that it is connected to the yeast infection? thanks!

if it persists go to the doctor yeast infection csn sometimes be caused by none traditional types of fungus and a swab test may need to be preformed. Yeast infections can cause sores, rashes, redness, skin peeling and chaffing once out of hand.

there dosnt look to be anything wring with the vagina on the outside dosnt look like u have a yeast infection as there dosnt appear to be any thick discharge there or soreness /redness looks healthy i already gave my comment on the other post regarding the bleeding after sex it does need further investigation as to wat is causing it as there are many causes it could be thar the vaginal opening is quite tight some lubricant may help as could have caused a rip or tear and that could be a reason for the bleeding usually is only light and is bright red blood which usually stops within a few mins the other causes could be that u have a polyp or a issue with the cervix itself such as erosion an examination of the inside of the vagina would be your best option to find out wat the cause is things like yeast infections and other vaginal infections stds can cause bleeding after sex chlamydia for one but they are usually accompanied by other symptoms a trip to the doctors would be the best idea usually if an infection such as yeast causes bleeding and is irritating the cervix the blood is pink in colour as it mixes with the thick vaginal discharge
