Is this oral herpes? Or a cut lip?

I am really worried that I have contracted herpes, but I am not sure if I am overthinking or not. I have not experience any symptoms apart from a mark on my lip, it has not been painful but I have read on here that sometimes the first breakout can be trivial but in other places I have read the first breakout can be the worst. This was the day the mark on my lip appeared. The first image (the one of my full mouth) is the day the mark on my lip appeared, as you can see it is reddish so it might be a cut from chapped lips as there was no pain beforehand. The 2nd image (the one which was taken from the side) is 2 days later and it seems to have healed a bit. I would just like someone with more knowledge to comment as i'm very worried about this.

I am not sure if I have been exposed to herpes or not.

In my opinion it is a cut lip or you might have bitten your lip by mistake. Herpes does not look like that and it appears on the outside of the lip not on the inside. Seek a dermatologist to be 100% sure

Hi! I was wondering if you got tested? I have the same marks on my top and bottom lip. I experience cold sores as well, no sexually transmitted I’ve gotten them ever since I was young with stress/weather change but these marks are different and almost feel like a crack in my lip. Just interested if you found out any news? I was also told if it’s sexuallt transmitted it would be inside the mouth. Let me know! Thank you.
