so im new here, back in dec 2018 started to feel tired, went to doct and all bloods normal but low b12 stores, jan 2019 had 6 loading doses of b12, felt absolutely terrible after this, head pressure, shakes, sweats, drunk feeling, heavy legs like lead and muscle weakness, bloating, muscle twitching and tachycardia also started, i have hashimotis diagnosed 2006 been on meds since with no problems, as months went on i continued to get worse and worse could barely function, had every test under the sun including female hormones that were normal, saw cardioligist for tachy which cleared me of heart problem, positive ana which thyroid condition could have caused, eventually doc thought fibromyalgia but i didnt have pain, decided to change doct, looked at my thyroid with new doct as i thought maybe overmedicated as symptons fit, but results didnt show that, stopped my thyroid meds to see if symptoms improved, didnt really so was started back on low dose and slowly increased to 50mcg now, previously was on 75mcg, thyroid levels in range now but have had late last year a period 2 weeks after last, never happened to me ever, cycle always been regular around 28 days, months passed with cycle around 25 -28 days, however feb cycle this year 41 days follwed by 23 days, awaiting next one now, boobs were also sore for around 3 weeks when usually only just before period, have also been having since may last year a jelly blob like discharge around 1 week after period, headaches, bloating and reduced symptons of even ovulating at all, periods very light 2 days , sorry for long post but i believe im in peri, im 44 and never felt this bad in whole life. im still experiencing most of the symptons above and believe its not thyroid related as had same symptoms on my higher dose.

hi Serena - believe it or not, i have everything you listed & i am 7 years post - i only experienced sweats & insomnia in peri - all my nightmare symptoms came on in really the last 5 years - in the last yesr in 1/2, i have had horrible achy joints specifically my legs where my muscles, ligaments & trndons can burn & sting & ache & my legs are "puffy" left worse than right - it freaks me out - ankles are not swollen, just knee & upper thigh - i have been to every dr - might go to an endocronologist again to just assure me thyroid is ok - i have had extended panel - menopause legs is a "thing" but this is ridiculous, i feel disabled by it - i pray daily for this to disappear & yes, my heart has started in with the palps again along with the burning body parts & twitching & tingling - i hate this!

yes ive had the tingling feet, last year was also waking with numb limbs, buzzing feeling in legs, these aren't so bad now, my legs get so tired and my forearms, hurts just brushing daughters hair, i feel like my b12 injections accelerated this, as after them i could barely walk around without being exhausted and heart rate was jumping up to around 140 at times, this was at my worst around a year back now, i still suffer daily with resting heart rate around 100 unless sleeping, my legs still get stiff and heavy , i get relief short bouts of relief where i feel normal but short lived, its debilitating 44 with 3 children and im exhausted, atm my boobs are so sore like pregnant, only on like day 16, just over it last year 1 lost 8 kilos because it started to effect me mentally, couldnt eat, just wanted to sleep, i hope this doesnt go on for years, my mum was on hrt at 45 and done and dusted by 50. im also more emotional cry at anything and fatigue like ive never experienced ever in my life, cant even enjoy few beers as this makes heart rate even higher, just want to be normal again, i go to sleep hours after everyone in house, then awake before any of them, just over it.

      Hi Debra

I to suffer from this burning legs, arms, etc and achiness.. worse in my right leg... also my legs sometimes get numb... I dont really have painful joints ... the ache feels more in the muscle and/or leg... arms get sore and tired.. I always feel tired.. My dr told me I have fybromyalgia... I still wonder if this is not all related to hormones...

hi tamsin - Did your dr test your Sed Rate for fibromyalgia? i think drs just call it fibromyalgia, because they cant figure out whats causing these issues - i find it very interesting that all these woman on this forum (if you look back on various posts) suffer from burning body parts, tingling, tremors, unexplained achiness etc. it just has to be hormone related -

      Hi Debra

A very good question. He discussed very little about this with me. I am going to ask him about that!

      Thanks
