A FEELING OF ON THE EDGE ..ITS A VERY STRANGE FEELING ALL OVER AND IN THE BODY .. ITS SO STRONG THAT NOTHING FEELS RIGHT AND I BECOME SO RESTLESS AND SCARED THAT I FEEL LIKE I WANT TO ESCAPE MY SELF!! it lasts some what like an hour or so...

yes what you experience is very common with anxiety and stress. It’s called sense of impending doom. Basically it’s an anxiety attack and often a panic attack. A huge rush of adrenaline is released creating the sensations you experience. It does wear off and it’s not dangerous. I’ve had it many times and so have a lot of people on this site. It really helps to breathe properly during this because it will slow down the heart rate and you will feel more at ease. What I do is listen to a short meditation for panic attack and they walk you through it. It’s on YouTube.

everyone should be getting a yearly check up at the doctors office so if you’re doing that it’s good.

I know it’s easier said than done and I know it’s terrifying when it happens, but the more you relax your mind the faster you will get some relief. I always found that the more I panicked about it the worse my sensations got.

    I hope you’re feeling better !

yes you can have anxiety attacks without having any sensations in your body other than your mind going totally negative and fearful. I’ve had that also more times than I can count. For some reason anxiety tends to put negative scary thoughts into your mind and you think you’re going to die.

Don’t believe everything that your mind is telling you! You’re not going to die.

The restlessness and uneasiness is all a part of it. You have to come to a place in your mind that is turned down a couple notches so that you’re not in this panicky high alert mode with fear engulfing you. that’s why I suggested following along with the breathing exercise and other soothing meditations for anxiety.

I hope you’re able to relax a little bit.
