Is this symptom very common with anxiety?

I thought I should share this since I just experienced this 2 times and it's making me a bit worried on my mental health now and physical health, but I been waking up in the middle of the night sometimes where I'm just waking up from a dream and I see a spider crawling on the top of my blanket outside where I see the shadow of it, even though it's not there and I would aggressively move around in fear and try to get the spider off it and it would happen for a split second before I'm very alert and wide awake. 2nd time was the same thing, with the same spider being on my bed and my reaction being scared on alerting me again. I heard something that stress or anxiety can sometimes cause this sleeping disorder, but I know for sure it's not sleep paralysis since I had it before and know the experience of it, but I can move around freely with what I had twice. Is this common and is it not dangerous? I tried to google what this can be and it seems like it matches with the words "hypnopompic hallucinations. " I'm curious if anyone else experienced something similar to what I had. I feel like my anxiety is really ruining me at this point.. I've just been so stressed out mostly and depressed. I just really wish I can overcome my anxiety or get it under control better. I suffered from generalized anxiety disorder for years and it just seems like it's not getting any better.

Well I've never seen a spider but once I woke up and clear as day I saw a man in armour for a couple of seconds and then nothing.

So I either have to start believing in ghosts and past life or I put it down to anxiety. If I were you I would just put it in the anxiety f#*k bucket.

I go through stages of this and it is so real and I leap out of bed then as soon as I'm up I realise and then it's OK. I have lost count of the amount of times its happened but honestly it is so life like and runs across my pillow. Has happened on and off for a few years.Doesent answer your question but just to reassure you you are not the only one!
