Yes, Ozmney. 8-10 beers is too much and you are talking the risk of getting physically dependent. Read some of the stories that people have to tell on this forum and you will see how awful it can get if you don't get it under control quickly.

That amount of beer will make you put on a considerable amount of weight.

Hi omsley, you are actually drinking quite a large amount, how about if you tried to cut it down to four cans a night and two days completely alcohol free.. you could try one can less a week, then carry on doing this for a month....

Everyone enjoys a drink ( myself included ) but I just say, please, plus, please be careful.... I lived with the horror of alcoholism for many years.... it was the most horrendous ten years of my life and also my family's...

I began like you... I had a drink as a treat. But you then build up tolerance and it takes more and more alcohol just to get the same effect, it creeps up on you and then, crap starts, you drink in the morning and then it becomes constantly just.to keep the shakes and VILE WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS... just be careful please...... as a BONUS. ...YOU WILL ALSO LOSE WEIGHT....I wish you well, take care...Deirdre xx
