Is this Vitiligo??

My 7 year son was diagnosed last summer with vitiligo. He had a collection of small spots all close together. He was given steroid cream and Tacrolimus. In the meantime more larger areas have appeared on his arms. This is my question: All of his spots, including the first one which is close to three years old now, still have pigment. They are a fee shades lighter than the skin around them, but not depigmented. Is this normal for Vitiligo? Im wondering if I should seek a second opinion.

    It’s hard to comment without a visual aid; but, always seek a second opinion when in doubt.
