I want to try vitamin e oil so can I just buy a bottle of the vitamins and break open the capsules?
or do I have to buy something else?

I would "think" the capsules would remain "fresher" than the oil already in a bottle...

HI Patricia... I have found vitamin E skin oil from my health food store to be excellent aid in my regime. easy to use and I slather it on wherever is dry or in pain etc. The one I buy is from Jason at 14,000 iu but can be bought at double strength. It is made with sunflower oil... so no problem like others have mentioned with pill that are made out of soy.give it a go..

Patricia - A word to the wise...be VERY CAREFUL what you buy...I have tried several versions...2 (both capsules and oil in a bottle) had soy in them. Both gave me bad itching and irritation. Another brand (curiously, the Sam's Club brand) have only the vitamin e and gelatins that are the capsule itself. This is fine. READ THE LABEL!!!
obtw, you'll need to puncture the capsule (I use small scissor or nail clipper) because it isn't a pull-apart capusule, but a gelcap...
